Unlike the 1st and 3rd Series, the replacement notes for 2nd Series do not bear a consistant prefix which generally represent by letter 'Z'. The alphabet the used for this series of replacement note varies from note to note depending on its face value. Collector has to identify them through its prefix that mentioned here. $1 replacement note used BA as its prefix; $5 replacement note adopted prefix NZ; $10 replacement note carried prefix of QA; $50 had a prefix of WA and $100 replacement note was named by prefix ZZ.
The revised second series adopted the same prefix as its original series except for the denomination of $100 which carried the prefix of ZU. Replacement banknote for denomination of $20, $500 and $1000 were also introduced and they were marked as UZ, ZX and ZZ respectively.
